Beyonce was born on September 4, 1981 in Houston, TX. She became famous as the lead singer of R&B group Destiny's Child, the best-selling female group of all time, with over fifty million records sold. She released her first solo album, Dangerously in Love, in 2003. Altogether, she has won 10 Grammy awards. She has also starred in movies such as Austin Powers: Goldmember, The Pink Panther, and Dreamgirls.
