Famke Janssen's Biography
Famke Janssen was born November 5, 1965 in Amersterdam, Netherlands. She moved to the United States in 1984 and began her career as a model for Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel and Victoria's Secret. After studying literature at Columbia University, she moved to Los Angeles to continue her career in Hollywood. She first secured small parts in TV shows such as Star Trek: The Next Generation and Melrose Place. Her first movie role was Fathers and Sons with Jeff Goldblum. She quickly became more popular as she stared as a "Bond Girl" in Goldeneye. Some of her movies include The House on Haunted Hill, Rounders, I Spy, and the X-Men trilogy.
